Managing Supervisor Roles (Internal & External)

Managing Supervisor Roles (Internal & External)

Overview:
Define and assign internal (in-house managers) and external (client-side or partner) supervisor roles and permissions.

Steps

  1. Open Roles & Permissions
Go to Admin → Roles & Permissions.

  2. Add a supervisor role

    1. Click + New Role.

    2. Name it Internal Supervisor or External Supervisor.

    3. Under Permissions, grant access to modules (e.g., Timesheets, Scheduling, Reports).

    4. Click Save.

  3. Assign users to a role

    1. Go to Users → All Users.

    2. Click a user, select Roles, and add the appropriate supervisor role.

    3. Click Save.

Tips

  • Internal Supervisors typically approve timesheets and manage staffing.

  • External Supervisors (e.g., facility liaisons) may only view visit schedules and reports.

Troubleshooting

  • Insufficient access: Revisit the role’s permissions and enable needed modules.

User not seeing changes: Have them log out and log back in.
